The Department for Education (DfE) has made two announcements about the future of post-16 funding and reforms:

• Previously announced reforms to post-16 qualifications at level 3 and below have been paused. The DfE will now review the proposed reforms in a process that will conclude by the end of the year.
• The removal of 16 to 19 funding has also been paused. 

Funding approval for the below TQUK qualifications was due to be removed after 31 July 2024 but will instead be extended to 31 July 2025:

TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Children's Workforce (Early Years Educator) (RQF)
TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (RQF)
TQUK Level 3 Certificate in AI Programming with Python (RQF)
